Frequently asked questions.
How often should I come?
The frequency of sessions depends on what feels right for you. Some clients prefer to meet more often in the beginning for example, every 1–2 weeks) and then gradually space out their sessions over time. Others may choose monthly appointments or attend only as needed.
How long will this take?
The length of therapy depends on your unique goals. Short-term therapy may take just 1–5 sessions, while long-term therapy can last for several months or even years. Some clients notice improvements after just one session, while others find ongoing support helpful over time.
How will I know therapy is working ?
This experience will differ for everyone. However, some clients report that they’re making small, positive changes in their lives, communicating and responding more thoughtfully, handling difficult emotions or situations more effectively, not feeling as hopeless, or feeling a weight lifted off of them.
